JEWEL HYUK!!! You are so gorgeous!


Looking at Hyuk's teaser, I can't believe I ever thought him to be an acquired taste when I first saw him in the Happiness MV. His facial features are completely angelic which of course matches his pure personality all too well. I like the stark contrast of this teaser with that from last year. Hyuk looked really good with platinum blonde locks but his paper-white skin shines with his dark hair. I love him being so pretty in this teaser hehe… PLEASE RELEASE MORE CLOSEUPS!!!

Here we are at the onset of another epic comeback. I'm feeling nostalgic remembering how absurdly hyped I was from the 3rd, 4th and 5th album comebacks. I clearly recall booking a meeting room to watch the Bonamana MV when it was released 2010. And then camping at my couch waiting for the Mr. Simple video last year when I was supposed to be sleeping as I was on night shift! Getting all sorts of online music site accounts, buying and asking friends to buy from Soribada, watching, rewatching the MV a million times over. And then the whirlwind of music shows – streaming, downloads and crying like silly when they win the mutizen or do triple crown. Ahhhhhhhhh, that's like half my life in these past years ㅋㅋ.

So out with the new hair, a group pic on the MV set (SM's oddly lit room once again hehe), and now comes the first teaser! 6집 is coming to us this soon ~ barely a month after Seoul Encore, right? Honestly, ELF didn't get to prepare much this time as most are probably still in SMTown and SS4 hangovers. I miss having my goosebumps- moment with a power slogan like "Return of the Superior"! The boys didn't get their breaks too and had in fact been immersed in so many individual projects in the last months (jap releases, dramas, variety, radio, musicals, I AM!). I guess everyone will be diving into this blindly fueled by Kangin's return and Leeteuk's upcoming enlistment. Sapphire blue-blooded adrenaline-powered ELF! Ok, we can!

Attention, my dear Coffee Prince fanatics …. Gong Yoo has returned to kdrama land!!! ❤❤❤



If you haven't seen Gong Yoo's newest drama, Big 빅, then you're missing out on a LOT! Gong Yoo had 2 movies (The Crucible-2011, Finding Mr. Destiny-2010) since his release from the army. But this is his first drama after the Coffee Prince (2007) phenomenon.







Yay! I love his character as Kang Kyungjoon's soul on Seo Yoonjae's body!!! It's such a joy seeing Gong Yoo act all childish and petty and randomly spouting extremely awkward english expressions every now and then ㅋㅋㅋ. It does appear like Kang Kyungjoon's spitefulness and playfulness were magnified A LOT when his soul switched to Seo Yoonjae's body. He was off the charts crazy which was perfect with Gong Yoo's portrayal hahah!






My favorite scene so far is Kang Kyungjoon's dinner table struggle with Gil Daran when Daran's father offered him a beer. His facial expressions were just INSANE! It must have been so much fun shooting this scene.









Following the recent trend of upper body exposures for Episode 1 of kdramas, Gong Yoo must of course reveal his ripped torso like the rest of them. He also had exposure scenes on Episode 2 haha. Not that I'm complaining but I sure hope they won't randomly force any succeeding nudity. I mean we get it, Gong Yoo has chocolate abs from here to infinity but his charms go well beyond his muscular built.




We are only 2 episodes into this… but I'm pretty excited! Back during my Coffee Prince days, I went as far as giving out Coffee Prince DVDs as Christmas gifts to my friends! That is of course, with the intention of getting them as addicted as myself and finding avenues to share my overflowing happiness. Needless to say, I'm having really high hopes that Big will take me to the same level (although now I know better than to force friends on my Korean fandom hihi). I will always credit Gong Yoo oppa for getting me started into serious hallyu fanaticism so I'm cheering him on on his new project. HWAITING!!!! ^^

Rainy days make me feel so nostalgic. Last weekend, everyone was celebrating #6YearswithELF and it made me want to go back to November 6, 2005.










So it will be 7 years this November ... 6th집, SS5, Kangin's comeback and Leeteuk's enlistment...
It doesn't really matter how much farther we're going cos it definitely feels like we're all in it still. For the long run ^^.

Super Show 4 has just officially ended with an Encore run in Seoul last weekend. I was overwhelmed with confused emotions following my crazy twitter list during the 2-day concert. It was bittersweet getting all the updates online and not being there to witness everything in person. I really thought I'd see a Seoul encore this year ~ But I guess I'd have to park this one item in my bucket list for now.

While I was consoling my silly fangirl self, I realized that I still have a lot I want to do as an ELF. I thought I've done plenty already in the past 4 years… But my bucket list is still quite lengthy as it keeps on growing every year as well!

Fangirling makes me such a busy person indeed! I haven't even added those items I can only dream about ~ like maybe really meeting the boys and talking to them. There was once a time when I thought I'd plan out what I wanted to say in case I meet them. I was foolish enough then not to realize how I would be entirely frozen with shock as soon as they appear in front of me. So really, that fansign thing up above is quite scary for me. Just the thought of it makes my heart pound soooooooo hard.

Surely, I'm not the only one to think that this is downright crazy. But I suppose I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll expect to see myself either checking off those items from my list ... Or doing everything humanely possible to attempt to do so. There will be times when I'll have to live with my disappointments and comfort my grief with watching fancams of the boys playing around like silly. And then there will be times when I am frozen on the spot, my entire soul doing invisible but near tangible somersaults at the sight of these boys... It will STILL be a crazy journey from here on. And my heart is in it until the end.

FIRST, let me just go CRAZY over Ming's Opera PV stills!!! Like cr@zzzrr@#$g!!?!











All the other members deserve their close-up spazzing too (as in ALL!). Though I only have a few caps here, I literally died from silent spazzing for the entire 3+ minutes of the video because of everyone's GORGEOUSNESS!











So yes, it's been a long while. I have missed doing this online spazzing thing in the past weeks especially when there has been SO MUCH of Ming in the recent shows. Not to mention the multitude of suju performances from SS4, SMTown and the Google MBC Kpop concert in San Jose ... SOOOO, I can't really go back to the initial shock of Ming's Mohawk style ㅋㅋ or the absolute THRILL of watching Oppa Oppa PV. I'll just have to touch ground from Opera PV (GLORIOUS GOODNESS in 1080p) and Ming's string of variety guesting's.

OMGosh can I be the taxi's right camera focused on MING and MING ALONE!? His facial expressions have gotten so much better. The camera loves him so much here and I was quite a satisfied customer with all his close-ups. And his voice has gotten louder too so that even if his stories didn't necessarily end in laughter and applause, his screen time was still significant ^^. Yey, Ming!



I love him saying that he's 28 and then he did his aegyo move A-ing!^^





















I like how he told the story of their failed trio group (with Hyukjae, Xiah Junsu). And how thankful am I that he came back to SM after his frustrations, right?!










And I thought they had a perfect ending stopping in front of KBS Sukira Building. Ming's surprised expression is just priceless. ^^

Ming as a guest here is SUCH a surprise! I think this is one of the more challenging variety shows since all the mainstays have such strong personalities. I have to say that I was less than thrilled to see Ming amidst all the other girl group members haha, well … ---.--- It took some significant effort to remain objective and cheer him on while he interacts with Sunny and kept on saying Suzy's name (너 진짜) But overall, I was proud of him for being funny and cute and pretty and HANDSOME and Oppa-like ~ so. I applaud Ming! (and I tell myself, I will survive this)



















Also, can I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ming's voice in Way? Like LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
