☊ #MrSimple on Soribada ☊

To Soribada or not to Soribada, that was the question yesterday. And fans sure know how to get their answers, huh? Soribada has just posted a pretty neat explanation on how their chart works. I was already convinced from reading about it on other blogs yesterday, but this official explanation really seals the deal for me.

So Soribada ❤ Music says this:

And so with that, I'm sure international fans wouldn't hesitate on buying the album from Soribada anymore, right!?!? ^^ Soribada just tweeted that Mr. Simple will be out by 11AM KST... I sure hope this means that the graphics on the english site will be upgraded ...

Here's how the english site looks like now. It's not all out for Super Junior YET:

See, it's a bit difficult to find Mr Simple on the list of tracks on the right. I want a big like HUGE pic of the awesome teaser pics on this page (haha, that's just me though). But it's there and you can download the songs from there. After downloading Mr Simple, do STREAM on Soribada so we get more points on the charts!!!!

Streaming POINTERS:
1. Listen to the entire song.
2. Log out and then re-log-in to listen again ^^. They say that this is the only way for your streaming to get counted. Sure, why not, right?
3. Do NOT put your playlist on LOOP.
4. Do NOT MUTE.
5. Do NOT STREAM BETWEEN 11pm KST - 12amKST.

Meanwhile, Korean Soribada is like tons cooler ^^

And I did mention yesterday that you can share the 1-minute previews in facebook, twitter or what have you ^^. So nice ^^. Too bad, foreigners can't purchase from here anymore. But we can still just visit the site and SHARE!!!

Here's how the other music portal sites look like. Click on the images to go to the site!!

AND THE MOST PIMPED UP IS THIS: BUGS! ❤❤❤

☊ LOVING mr. simple Part 2 (elf support) ☊

So ok, after the non-monetary support comes the monetary one ^^. The first obvious thing is to buy the actual album! But of course you have to buy from those which will count in the awards. I believe Synnara and Hottracks are like super confirmed sources to buy from. There are others, so just google them to check if they will count on the charts.

Here's a breakdown of how the Korean Music Charts work:
source and full credits: ★★MUST READ★★ How to make Super Junior WIN in all Chart!!

KBS Music Bank

* 60% Digital sales + 15% Album sales + 15% Appearance in Music Programs + Fondness Scale/Viewer Rating
* Appearance in Music Programs calc: TV : RADIO; 7 : 3

SBS Inkigayo

* 60% Digital Downloads + 5% Album Sales + 5% Homepage votes + 20% Search results + 10% Broadcast Time
* Sites for calculation of digital sales: Soribada, Melon, Mnet, SBS (site)
* Sites for calculation of album sales: Hanteo Chart, Shinnara Media, HotTracks
* Sites for calculation of searches: Naver, Empas
* Votes are referring to: Mobile votes + SBS (site) votes

Mnet M! Countdown

* 50% Sales Count + 30% Online Voting + 10% Mnet’s Judging + 10% Live Text Voting

Golden Disk Awards

* Album sales 60% + Audience Vote 20% and Committee Vote 20%

So you see, the online part is a major factor on the music shows. So the second obvious monetary support is to buy their digital album. And I think it's just awesome how kpop (and suju in particular) is strongly promoting legal downloads of mp3's from music sites. There's really no better time to start doing this (if you haven't yet) than during album promotions. Meanwhile, if you have always been a dutiful netizen, the challenge with kpop songs is that purchasing the digital songs and supporting the artists aren't always in synch. You can easily purchase from iTunes but that wouldn't count on Korean Music Shows (which we want) ... So, international fans have to make sure that they are making their purchases count for suju, right? After much confusion on twitter earlier, it seems like everyone has settled on buying from Soribada. Here are 2 links that should convince you too:

I personally like the Korean Soribada, cos it's way more fun for me so far (haven't spent a lot of time browsing the other sites yet). I think I favored this site last year during 4집 as well. And now, see here, I abused the 좋아요 links for Mr. Simple haha ^^ Cool way to share on Facebook and Twitter, right?

There's also Naver (which I think I would try) and Mnet (I want to try this too). It really wouldn't hurt to download Mr. Simple from all of these sites ^^. Besides, we're doing everything we can to support the boys, right? ^^
