☊ time is passing ☊

와 진짜 오랜만이다 … I really intended to diligently exercise my right to spazz through this space but the past months were just thoroughly overwhelming. 힘들텐데 … 난 그냥 멘붕이야~

I left things here while at the brink of transforming into a full blown Shinhwa Changjo. I really didn't understand what I was getting into at that time. I've always considered myself to be a single fandom type of fangirl as my world revolved around being an ELF for the past 5 years. It was a strange, somehow burdensome and a very scary feeling to be drowning in yet another sea of fanchants, balloons, and unending screams.

근데, 어떡하지? There was no use swimming against the tides. In these 6 months, I went back to my early 2008 phase again~ wild eyed and scouring the web for old youtube videos, songs, pictures, profiles, and whatnots to satisfy my Shinhwa fixation. The sensation was very familiar as I went through these same motions with Super Junior. One blog led into another and prompted infinite video searches which filled plenty of my sleepless nights. My external drive began screaming for help as I unexpectedly filled it with Shinhwa downloads of all sorts. My once fanatical sapphire blue world has inevitably been tinged with a very potent shade of orange.

I surrendered to confusion and stopped writing. I missed out on sharing my drenched SMTown SG experience, Sungmin's birthday, SJM's new album, KRY's new releases and all the tears from skipping SS5 in Seoul. I can always claim that my hectic work schedules and holiday celebrations ate up most of my time. And they did (honestly, they did) but I had more serious challenges than those. Deep inside, I knew that I was struggling more on how my Eric-biased RICSYUNG fanaticism was transforming into a HYESUNG-bias RICSYUNG obsession hahaha. Oh well, silly things consume what's left of my sanity as always.


☆ Celebrated Ming's birthday with a strawberry cake! ☆

I wasn't able to visit Seoul last year (and that sucked big time) so I was really looking forward to coming for SS5. So imagine how UNBELIEVABLY amazing it would have been to come for Shinhwa's 15th Anniversary Concert (last weekend) and stay in for SS5 (this weekend)? Ah, but the heavens conspired against me and gave me a major work commitment for Q1-2 ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ. I literally shed painful tears realizing how messed up my plans have become. The drama queen in me started nitpicking on my fangirl retirement seeing how things were becoming too inexplicably wrong ...

And so I decided to start writing again. I had to diffuse a bit of the chaotic nonsense in my head. I figured that if I can try to keep things up in here again then I might not feel too defeated with my missed Seoul opportunity. There will be other concerts ... and somehow I will learn to accept my ever growing limitations as a foreign fangirl ... and soon enough I'll manage to find the balance between my 2 major biases ... I just have to keep moving forward.

So I'm (hopefully) back. I'll try to piece together my delayed spazzing updates in the next days. And you'll definitely see more of my idol oppas from here on. Here's to making choices and braving through them!

Some days are just happier than others...


Like the day when all 3 versions of 6집 arrive! There is no stopping the smile which kept bursting into giggles at random points during the day.

Flipping through a signed album has always been just a part of my imagination... But thanks to a really really really AWESOME dongsaeng, I can ramble like this because I have absolutely no words for my heart bleeding with endless gratitude ... (?!@#!!!*^!@!??!)

So life goes on just like that. One day you're bursting at the seams from so much joy and the next day you wake up still unable to believe it. I hope the boys can someday understand how much happiness they contribute into this world...

☊ sungmin omma is ❤ ☊

First, this Star Life Theater series is just off the charts AMAZING!!! I am THOROUGHLY loving every episode and wow, I wish it won't stop! The behind the scenes stories about the boys are just as endearing as their splendid stage acts and I seriously think I'm falling more in love with them (if even possible).

Anyway, I'll give that show a proper spazzing once I calm myself enough. For now, I just wanted to dance around happily because I am soooooo delighted with Sungmin Omma's aegyo at Episode 2!!!!




She's so giddy and sweet and really nice, right? And whoah, really beautiful too. Good looks are easy to trace in Ming's family. His dad and brother are head turners as well. Ahh, but Omoni's aegyo is the best!!!! Hnng!!!

SUNGMINAH, why so pretty?!!? Your clear round eyes, your honey cheeks, your tall nose, your soft lips …. You really do have the perfect features for an astonishingly beautiful young lady, eh?! If this Beautiful Male concept has indeed that fairy tale setting, you're easily the princess, my Ming. Or well, taking into account the other teasers, you're Donghae's flower girl heheh.

But hey, don't we have long blond silky hair on fairy tale princes as well? Ming could easily be holding out a bouquet of flowers as a sad prince mourning his lady's ill fate perhaps? It could work like that too hehehe … ELFs are just preconditioned to see Ming as a girl (no one to blame after Marilyn Mingroe hehe).

So I love Ming's teaser this time because of the MAJOR WOW FACTOR which got him into the worldwide trending topics earlier hehe… I'm sure Ming intended it to be this way. But I can't say I love it more than last year's. I think Ming has consistently been improving on his facial expressions so that lately, his pictorials have been ohhhhh sooo good. I don't know how many times I've changed wallpapers with his Daniel (Jack the Ripper) poster and his Sukira pictures in these last weeks!



Oh and Kangin makes a comeback with his beastly teaser pic! It's definitely the most manly pic of this set so it matches well with Kangin's post-army image. It still has the fantasy feel to it though but it surely it is rougher around the edges than the other members. I really really like his eyes here and I'm curious on what they did to his hair!!!

FIRST, let me just go CRAZY over Ming's Opera PV stills!!! Like cr@zzzrr@#$g!!?!











All the other members deserve their close-up spazzing too (as in ALL!). Though I only have a few caps here, I literally died from silent spazzing for the entire 3+ minutes of the video because of everyone's GORGEOUSNESS!











So yes, it's been a long while. I have missed doing this online spazzing thing in the past weeks especially when there has been SO MUCH of Ming in the recent shows. Not to mention the multitude of suju performances from SS4, SMTown and the Google MBC Kpop concert in San Jose ... SOOOO, I can't really go back to the initial shock of Ming's Mohawk style ㅋㅋ or the absolute THRILL of watching Oppa Oppa PV. I'll just have to touch ground from Opera PV (GLORIOUS GOODNESS in 1080p) and Ming's string of variety guesting's.

OMGosh can I be the taxi's right camera focused on MING and MING ALONE!? His facial expressions have gotten so much better. The camera loves him so much here and I was quite a satisfied customer with all his close-ups. And his voice has gotten louder too so that even if his stories didn't necessarily end in laughter and applause, his screen time was still significant ^^. Yey, Ming!



I love him saying that he's 28 and then he did his aegyo move A-ing!^^





















I like how he told the story of their failed trio group (with Hyukjae, Xiah Junsu). And how thankful am I that he came back to SM after his frustrations, right?!










And I thought they had a perfect ending stopping in front of KBS Sukira Building. Ming's surprised expression is just priceless. ^^

Ming as a guest here is SUCH a surprise! I think this is one of the more challenging variety shows since all the mainstays have such strong personalities. I have to say that I was less than thrilled to see Ming amidst all the other girl group members haha, well … ---.--- It took some significant effort to remain objective and cheer him on while he interacts with Sunny and kept on saying Suzy's name (너 진짜) But overall, I was proud of him for being funny and cute and pretty and HANDSOME and Oppa-like ~ so. I applaud Ming! (and I tell myself, I will survive this)



















Also, can I just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ming's voice in Way? Like LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
