Hi, I'm a Ming-biased ELF and I'm a Skip Beat addict.
And I thought Episode 10 was just OFF THE CHARTS DAEBAAAAAAAAAAAAK!



















I confess that I wasn't too avid of the drama during the first few episodes. The manga-anime-CGI feel took a bit of getting used to. I also felt that the dubbed voices of SiHae were awkward AT FIRST. I eventually got used to the voices as well as the anime-effects (yes, I even got used to the freakish cos-playing owners of the Japanese restaurant).

I grew fond of Skip Beat after Episodes 3-4 I think. I got totally hooked by Episodes 8-9 so that I anxiously await the subs between the Monday and Tuesday which follows the Sunday broadcast … And then now at Episode 10, I'm seriously ADDICTED! To the point where I'm not quite satisfied with just streaming the episodes. I had to find some good enough videos to download for re-runs and for keeps. But unlike my regular Korean drama fixes, it was a bit more difficult to find high resolution sources for Taiwanese dramas. So this 1024x672 is the best I can find in one night. Here are some delayed caps from previous episodes.




























After securing my raw and sub sources, I had to search the pinyin lyrics of SOLO! I love hearing Ming croon "ai shi solo, zui mei de hui huo". But curiously, I kept replaying Donghae's song in my head instead. Perhaps because he sang it on SS4 SG… But seriously, I watch the mini MV at the ending of EACH Skip Beat Episode as I find the images with the matching song lyrics to be completely endearing and emo-worthy!

I'm glad that I'm neither a Hae nor a Siwon bias since I am able to fully enjoy the drama. I might be one of the very few who doesn't wish to be on Gong Xi's/Ivy Chen's shoes (unless it means having a 2nd degree connection with Ming, hmmm). I do think she is ONE LUCKY GIRL and I actually cheer for her character (in my head, for fear of being lashed at by SiHae fans hehe). I feel for Gong Xi's struggles, her crazy delusions, her mistakes and mini victories (so far). AND I honestly believe that Lian and Shang looked INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS when they were falling in love (or trying not to) with Gong Xi. I say it's turning out to be an EPIC love story for me ~ on the same ranks as 미남이 신에요 (You're Beautiful) & 시크릿 가든 (Secret Garden).












My final thought for now:
I WISH I ATTENDED THE FANMEET AT PLAZA SINGAPURA!!!
